Air conditioning refrigeration plant renovation and energy-saving rate analysis of an office building

For the pre-renovation operational status of the air conditioning refrigeration plant in an office building, the problems are identified and the targeted renovation plans are proposed. By reviewing standards and research related to energy-saving calculation, an engineering method is developed to estimate the annual energy-saving rate based on the energy-saving rates of typical similar days under low, medium, and high load levels, combined with the proportions of different load rates. After the renovation, the annual energy efficiency ratio (EER) of the air conditioning refrigeration plant system reaches 4.5, with an annual energy-saving rate of 44.8%, demonstrating excellent energy-saving performance.
